You Don’t Need an IRS Attorney if….
Everyone is so worried about getting audited by the IRS, but the reality is the IRS have only so many auditors to go around. The tax man can only send his auditors to a fraction of the millions of taxpayers who file tax returns. The chances of getting audited are probably a game of chance, so hold off on getting an IRS attorney. And you shouldn’t worry about tax audits unless you are cheating, or stretching the truth when it comes to reporting your income and deductions. By the way, the people who cheat never worry because they often think no one would catch them. So if you are conservative in your tax filing, report your numbers honestly, and seek tax problem help, you should not fear having an audit from the IRS.
Remember, the IRS only get around to auditing very few returns during the year.
